A Philanthropy Benefiting FINCA International

Hey SWACURH!!!  We're excited this year to name FINCA International as the beneficiary for SWACURH 2008's Philanthropy effort.  FINCA international is a worldwide microfinance institution that helps impoversished individuals raise capital to start their own business.  Check out their site for more information: http://www.villagebanking.org/site/c.erKPI2PCIoE/b.2394109/k.BEA3/Home.htm

We encourage every school to raise money on your campuses to bring with you on November 6th.  The top large/small school will be presented with an award at the awards banquet.

Our goal is for each small school to raise $25.00 and each large school $50.00.  Good Luck!

During the conference, our staff will be selling commemorative SWACURH 2008 wrist bands with FINCA International inscribed on them.  These wil be sold for $2.00 apiece.  Our RHA has donated these wristbands so that all proceeds will go to FINCA International.  So remind your fellow delegates to pack a couple of extra bucks for this uber cool wristband!
