About RIC

What is the Residents’ Interhall Congress? Residents’ Interhall Congress (RIC) is the coordinating organization for the various residence hall governing bodies across campus. RIC’s goal is to help develop residence hall policies, procedures, programs, and facilities to best serve the interests of students living on campus.

What do we do? RIC provides students with the opportunity to lead in several strategic areas -from Lead Hogs, to RIC House of Representatives, to the executive team. These different units work together to address important issues concerning the quality of life on campus. RIC also plans and helps with many hall and campus-wide programs that serve to provide a backdrop for creating a healthy community.

How much does it cost to attend an RIC event? Nothing! All RIC events are free! You might even walk away with a prize. RIC events typically have giveaways and lots of T-shirts!

How can I get in contact with RIC? House meetings are held every Monday at 7:30pm in Kimpel 102. All interested parties are invited to attend; though voting is limited to senators. You can send an email ric@uark.edu and one of the executive board members or advisors will get back to you.
